ShutterBooth & The Knot Afloat in San Diego, CA: Like a Diamond in the Sky

SB Diamond View TowerTwinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky. Twinkle, twinkle, little star, the SD Knot Mixer was a success by far! Fifteen stories high atop San Diego, California’s Ultimate Skybox Diamond View Tower overlooking the Coronado Bridge and Petco Park, The Knot entertained guests as ShutterBooth captured the fun.  Just as the evening got underway, a marine layer of clouds rolled in literally placing us in the clouds.  The sun set just beyond downtown San Diego’s city lights illuminating the skyline in a blast of warm, bright oranges, yellows, and sublime pinks that set the tone for an uptown, swanky night of dancing, food, libations, and social camaraderie.

Emily Smiley of Emily Smiley Fine Weddings and Soirees and Carolyn Homestead of The Knot planned this evening among the stars and orchestrated exceptional vendors. Tim Otto Photography clicked photos all night. Authentic Flavors passed trays of original hors devours, dinner, and signature desserts including mini milkshakes and decadent, bite-size chocolate lava cakes while cocktails were poured by Best Beverage and coffee by Eurobar.  Guests enjoyed plush, cozy seating and glow tables from Lounge Appeal or shook their tailfeather to the sounds of Wayne Foster Entertainment and DJ Justin Kanoya on a custom-made dance floor picturing the latest cover of The Knot SD Dance Floormagazine, created by Platinum Pro. Contemporary florals of driftwood, manzanita, orchids and dhalias complemented the demure, eggplant sheer linens, both by The Floral Department.  Another fun, friendly, yummy Knot party….but this time against a midnight sky high among the clouds.  Don’t miss out on the SoCal ShutterBooth fun in our event gallery!
