This last Saturday I was lucky enough to have a job in Owosso, MI (just outside of Lansing). The group hosting the event was Memorial Healthcare, a local hospital. This was no ordinary evening however. the theme of the night, “The Joint is Jumpin'” helps describe the atmosphere! The location, at Baker College, was completely decked out in a 1920’s style look. They even had a newstand and custom made “hooch”! As this night was about raising money for a charity, a silent (and small live) auction was held. I had a chance to look at the offerings, and there were definitely some attention grabbers…especially the 42 inch HD TV! Also, Persuasion, a terrific band from the Detroit area was on deck to keep the guests on the dance floor to all hours of the evening. Their repertoire of decades of songs gave everyone something to enjoy! ShutterBooth was pleased to be part of the action, and we took well over 100 spectacular pictures. The ones where people dressed up, flapper style, were very interesting…to say the least. Thank you to everyone at Memorial Healthcare, and we hope to see you again next year!
