Dodger

Dodger Stadium hosted the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) and International Special Events Society (ISES) luncheon for the greater LA area chapters’ February mixer. It was a great opportunity to meet vendors from all parts of the event planning world, get a glimpse into their minds, and to bounce ideas around.  We dined in the Stadium Club overlooking the ballpark, and in true Dodger Blue fashion the day was complete with a stadium tour, lunch by Levy Restaurants, Four Seasons Catering, and cake by Rossmoor Pastries (whose injected cupcakes are divine by the way).

We met some ShutterTastic people: Leonard Neil Productions (a special event company), Steve Muchnij of 11H Entertainment, Bette Bloom of the Elan Hotel, Marissa Shaffer of Bliss Makeup Artistry, Christine Dellosso of LA Limousine, Yogi Patel of Sheer Romance (wedding planning company), Nutan Shah of Elegant Events by Nutan, Eileen Daley of Gourmet Celebrations, Alex Moreno of Creative Handbook (#1 entertainment resource), Mario Rocha – West Coast Representative of The Three Waiters (singing group), Dahlia Wexler – President of Designer Specialty Linens, and DJ Maxx (Matthew Beaumont) of Celebrations Mobile DJ Service.

Wherever we go and share about SoCal ShutterBooth and the exceptional photo booth fun we provide, we hear how original and new the concept is.  Photo booths are all the rage, but still remain a newbie in the event world.  Just when we think we’ve heard of everything to make an event magical, more new ideas pop up.  11H Entertainment, mentioned above, focuses their music services on creating emotion with the crowd by offering A-list musicians, DJs, and emcees in an original experience called Infusion Xperience where the DJ spins tunes enhanced by live musicians.  You get the best of both worlds!   The Three Waiters is one of the coolest ideas we’ve seen, and is yet another original.  They are internationally acclaimed singers and performers, who disguised as waiters, act as though they are part of the event staff.  At some point during the event they spontaneously break out into song, surprising guests and catching them off guard.  Their reviews are off the charts and the idea is so fresh!   We learn something new every day.  Thanks ABC and ISES!  We look forward to the March events.
