Studio 1053…Our New Home!
ShutterBooth Utah has found a new home! We are proud to be a part of the Studio 1053 crew in the heart of Sugar House at 1053 East 2100 South. Studio 1053 is home to four extremely talented and well known companies here in Utah: ZumaPhoto, Culinary Crafts – the Salt Lake annex, Sprout Photo, and PixelWhipped.
This studio is the perfect creative atmosphere for meeting with clients and showing off the photo booth. One of our photo booths will be set up in the studio for clients and perspective clients to test drive and experience the fun.
Here is a quick glimpse of each of our new “roommates”:
ZumaPhoto is a collective of three highly experienced photographers with three distinct styles and one shared passion for telling stories. Specifically, stories about relationships. The three photographers are: Mitchell Burt – Founder and managing partner of ZumaPhoto, Logan Walker, and Heidi Ann. Sure they make cool/edgy/hip images, but they feel that a photo can and should do something more than just record what you look like – it should say something about who you are. To do this, they look for natural, dynamic, and genuine moments that happen of their own accord. Sometimes this means a purely photojournalistic approach, and other times a more interactive and playful session to find the best you there is!
Culinary Crafts is Utah’s only 7 time Best of State Caterer, and has been catering for 26 years throughout Utah and the surrounding states. They create events and customize venues to fit just about every need imaginable. Sprout Photo specializes in contemporary child, maternity & family portraiture, both in-studio and ‘on-location’ in their client’s natural habitat. By ‘contemporary’ they mean that they are principally concerned with capturing their subject’s personality, rather than merely a likeness. Elaborate poses, ornate backgrounds and other baroque distractions common to classical portraiture are done away within order to interact with and focus on their subjects. The resulting images are genuine, honest and meaningful, and it turns out that this approach is more fun for their subjects, too!
PixelWhipped was created to serve as an alternative to the large, faceless image editing, graphic design, and album design companies that are in the market today. PixelWhipped offers personalized, efficient, and high quality services that are tailor fit to our individual clients and their needs.
We are excited to join this wonderful group of vendors in Sugar House, and look forward to working with our clients in this great new space.
