Solas – a Cool Place with a Rooftop View

We were fortunate to have the opportunity to participate at the Bubbles and Bling party at Solas in Raleigh on Nov. 22. It was fun and great to have an intimate setting with brides-to-be and other wedding professionals.

First and foremost – Solas. Wow. It was my first time there and it was beautiful. Solas has three levels and you have to check out the second and third levels if you’re considering a corporate event, engagement party or even intimate wedding. Other highlights of the event included some gorgeous and trendy gowns from Tre Bella. Bailey’s was also there displaying some dazzling engagement rings, men’s bands and necklaces and, last but very not least, cake from Cinda’s Creative Cakes was served.

I also had the opportunity to meet a couple of wedding pros for the first time. Dina Holland from White Thread (www.white-thread.com) staged a rehearsal dinner setup so guests can see the latest trends. White Thread is a new blog that examines everything trendy in weddings. And, finally, I met Martha Manning of Martha Manning Photography (www.marthamanning.com). I keep meeting so many cool wedding photographers in the area and all of them do great work.
