Giddeons Throw a Big Party at Little River

I have lived in North Carolina since 2001 but have never visited Carthage.  I got the opportunity last week to visitCarthage, home of Little River golf and Resort — and more importantly the site of Michelle and Edwin’s wedding.

When I met Michelle and Edwin a few months ago, they warned me: “Our friends are crazy.” I told them I have been to many crazy events, but they again assured me that their friends are nuts. OK, I give in — their friends WERE nuts!

It took a couple of hours but by half-way through the evening, I couldn’t believe how much fun they were.  I have to give credit to table number 8 to get the festivities going as all 10 of them jumped in the booth. Not to be outdone, table 6 was next. The rest of the night was really a blur after that.

Little River was a beautiful location to have the event. The couple got married outside and then came in to celebrate their vows. Bobbi Scarboro, catering director at the facility, had everything under control all night long.
