ShutterBooth, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and Family House – what a great team!

ShutterBooth was soaking up the sun and enjoying the cool breeze at the Family House 27th Annual Polo Match! Thanks to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC for sponsoring ShutterBooth as part of this event!!!

In 1983, Family House opened its doors to patients and their families, providing them with comfortable, affordable surroundi…ngs while they underwent specialized hospital treatment at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), the Western Pennsylvania Hospital , and other hospitals in the Pittsburgh area.

Family House, a non-profit corporation operated by a voluntary board of directors, provides a special “home away from home” for patients and/or families who must travel to Pittsburgh for treatment of serious or life-threatening illnesses. Thanks to the generosity and support of the Pittsburgh community, Family House is able to provide a comfortable haven to help our guests through stressful times.
