Have a ShutterRockin’ Time at the Pittsburgh Heart Ball!

It’s that time of year again! ShutterBooth is so honored to be asked back to the American Heart Association’s Pittsburgh Heart Ball!!! This year’s theme…The Heart of Rock & Roll! We’re ready for a ShutterBooth a’rockin time!

The Heart Ball is Pittsburgh’s most elegant, black tie affair. Each year, members of the corporate and medical communities come together to celebrate the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association.
Our theme this year isThe Heart of Rock & Roll! From the fun-filled games to the gourmet dinner to the silent and live auction – it’s an exciting night of glitz and glamour – and Rock & Roll.

Contributions received will go far in supporting cardiovascular research, professional and community education, and advocacy efforts.

Pulse of Pittsburgh Award
This affair also marks the presentation of the 2010 Peter J. Safar Pulse of Pittsburgh Award. This year, the award will be presented to Dr. P.S. Reddy, a Professor of Medicine in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, for his dynamic world leadership in medical science.

Open Your Heart Special Appeal
The Heart Ball also provides an opportunity for members of the community to support a special campaign, the Open Your Heart Special Appeal, which addresses the critical issue of children’s heart health.

Heart-related birth defects, alarming increase in childhood obesity, and teaching kids about the dangers of smoking are just a few of the issues this initiative supports.

The festivities will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:00pm. Please make plans to join us!
