Basil Haydens – Hometown Rising & Bourbon and Beyond
Kentucky is home to the famed Bourbon trail. In Louisville, two major musical festivals, Hometown Rising and Bourbon and Beyond, marry together music and bourbon paying homage to the local area.
For both of these festivals we worked with small batch brand bourbon Basil Hayden to create a customized photo opp within their space. Festival attendees over both weekends were able to visit the Basil Haydens bar for a unique themed cocktail and snap photos, GIFs, and boomerang gifs in the branded photobooth.
This activation resulted in 882 sessions resulting in over 364,192 impressions!
Players Trust Super Bowl
On the eve of the Super Bowl, NFL alunni, executives, and industry pros gather to celebrate all things NFL football in the host city.
In 2020 the party took place in downtown Miami in the heart of the arts district. With a crowd of pro athletes and the need for an engaging yet artsy photo activation, our new Smile Spheres were the perfect fit to keep the party going while providing instant unique content for social media.
While our event referees worked the crowd the Smile Spheres were passed from guest to guest to create custom branded selfies and GIFs.
One party produced over 600 branded selfies getting over 1,400 views resulting in 145,648 impressions.
MKG Target Pride
For the Twin Cities Pride Festival, corporate sponsor Target made a big impact and lasting impression in 2019. Taking the photo booth concept to the next level, we worked with Target to create a custom activation to generate buzz and engage attendees.
Pride attendees stepped into a custom confetti booth enclosure. Our team triggered the confetti drop and photobooth resulting in a unique branded boomerang GIF. Attendees were able to instantly share to social media and the line too experience the confetti booth was nonstop all weekend.
Creating a unique social content is key in encouraging social media shares from any event. As a result of this custom activation, there were over 3,904 social shares resulting in 1,102,587 impressions!
We worked with adidas Originals to create a pop up studio at Macy’s flagship store in New York City to celebrate the Adidas Falcon release. The entire activation was dedicated to the Falcon and the key influences behind it; confidence, self-expression and of course, ’90s fashion. Kylie Jenner was the face of the ad campaign, so what better way to engage consumers than an Instagram ready photo opp?
We created a custom fisheye / wide angle photobooth capturing groups of people with a highlighted focus on their footwear. Holiday shoppers received custom branded photos to post on Instagram, creating instant influencers!
Attendees were treated to a whole host of nostalgic goodies including carnival games and custom airbrushed shirts.
During the 4 hour pop up the photo opp there were over 500 shares resulting in over 117,837 social impressions.
Panorama Music Festival
Hendrick’s Gin served up craft cocktails to thirsty guests in their tent at the Hendrick’s Gin booth at Panorama and Lolla’s Mix’d Up Craft Cocktail Bar. The two events combined featuring a week of music by hundreds of artists drawing hundreds of thousands of guests. ShutterBooth provided a fully branded kiosk featuring boomerang style gifs as well as prints for guests to enjoy while character actors interacted with guests in a themed set including their trademark motorcycle with cucumber side-car.
ChooseATL College Football Kickoff
ChooseATL invited ShutterBooth for their ChooseATL Ultimate Kickoff party, which celebrated the biggest college football weekend of the year—the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, the Georgia Bulldogs vs. the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Hosted by ET Cali and Flockaland on January 5th, it featured special guests: Xavier Blk, SU$HI CEEJ, and DJ OH SO who helped celebrate the big game. At the Westside Cultural Arts Center, ShutterBooth provided brand video integration and boomerang style GIFs with music, featuring football fans having a little pre-game fun.

Flor de Caña Rum
Flor de Caña has a unique story, one that began at the foot of an active volcano in Nicaragua. We used this story to inspire a green screen photobooth experience.
Guests stepped in front of our green screen backdrop to snap their photos – in addition to their photos, they also received a GIF with an animated background to share on social media. The background featured the volcano erupting, a nod to Flor de Cañas rich history.
In addition to this immersive GIF experience, Flor de Caña used VR technology to give attendees the opportunity to “volcano-board” down the slope of Cerro Negro, an active sand volcano in Nicaragua – located just 25 miles from the distillery. This amazing virtual reality experience also gave attendees the chance to experience the Flor de Caña tour and see the artisanal production process.
This mixture of event technology gave party guests multiple opportunities to really interact and get to know the Flor de Caña brand.
Evian US Open
We collaborated with Evian for an internal product launch for the sales and marketing team at Danone. Evian’s goal was to create a unique experience for their team and build internal excitement around their new “Evian Oversize” campaign.
With Evian being a long-standing corporate sponsor for the US Open and the launch coinciding with the beginning of the season, the customized gif photo booth experience was designed with the US Open in mind.
Team members used oversized tennis props while using the gif booth and were able to share their digital media instantly via text and email. A direct feed was setup to the company’s internal Facebook site to share all of the animated gif action in real time for everyone to see. In addition to gifs, instant printouts co-branded with the Evian and US Open logos were printed for each employee.
With some inspiration from the new ad campaign, a matching branded overlay was created for each gif output.
This experience helped Danone energize their sales and marketing team in an interactive way. Brand engagement isn’t always consumer facing, it’s important to create experiential opportunities within your company as well.

47 Hats – Nitro World Games
47 Hats wanted to provide an immersive experience for attendees by offering them the ability to feel like they were a part of the sporting event.
A BMX bike and custom green screen stand were setup for users to create their own World Games experience. Attendees selected the motocross background of their liking, hopped on the BMX bike and posed as if they were performing tricks on the course. Cameras were positioned perfectly to catch just the right angles.
The images were spliced together to create a video with the optical illusion that the user was freestyling through the course as if they were a part of the Nitro Games competition.
Large televisions were setup playing the videos drawing users to the activation.
Hundreds of videos were created and users shared their experience across multiple social media channels.
This one day activation garnered nearly 500 unique social media uploads, translating to over 450,000 impressions.
47 Hats was able to deepen competition goers connection to the games through this interactive activation.
