We are in love with romantic, rustic weddings!
I love the new craze everyone is getting into with the romantic, rustic style for weddings! This is by far the most charming and intimate style I can possibly imagine. We’ve seen a lot of really great ideas over the years, but as a fine wine, the ideas are getting better and better with time. Here is a look at a couple of our favorites!

A Traverse City Rustic Wedding
Posted September 14, 2010 by EmmalineBride | ♥ 1 Comment
We’re just loving this wedding Traverse City wedding! Not only is Traverse City one of the coolest cities in Michigan, but the scenery and landscape is absolutely stunning for a wedding.
We have no one greater to thank for these amazing images than Andy, from Andy Wakeman Photography for capturing Anne and Josh’s rustic, homespun wedding.
Anne and Josh tell us a little about their wedding,
“I don’t think we had a theme. I wanted everything to be fresh, seasonal, rustic, homespun. We chose our location because it was beautiful, an newly restored barn in the gentle rolling hills of the peninsula. We were able to just sort of take over the whole location and the Myers family pitched in and helped prepare the whole setting.”
Enjoy!
Real wedding: Nichole + Tim

Gorgeous gorgeous wedding nestled in the Old Buttonwoods neighborhood of Warwick, Rhode Island. Old Buttonwoods? How adorable is that!
The whole wedding is just so pretty and thoughtful and detailed… and the invites and paper are divine. Which is even more awesome because the bride, Nichole, made them! She’s a talented lady.
And we’re pretty sure that every community reception hall should come with vintage mini bowling lanes. So charming!
Enjoy:
And we have a pretty video shot by Jim Altieri of Vintage Cinema. Neat!
So satisfying to see the whole wedding in action along with the photos!
You can see more photos of Nichole’s invites on Beast Pieces too.
Malibu Wedding by Troy Grover Photographers
This next wedding by Troy Grover Photographers is just plain awesome. This couple took their color inspiration and totally ran with it sticking to a crisp, Autumn-inspired palette. I love that they collected vintage pieces in their color scheme for the centerpieces and decor. On top of being wildly chic, the party looks like it was probably equally as fun. It’s not everyday that we share a wedding party with their pants down! Click here to see more wild beauty in the full gallery!
