The Greater Detroit Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (Detroit NACE)<\/strong> <\/a>will hold its annual \u201cWedding Trends\u201d program on February 17 at the Westin Book Cadillac<\/strong><\/a> in Detroit from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.\u00a0 The extremely popular event will feature acclaimed event designer Brit Bertino, a highly sought after speaker and nationally recognized expert on event trends. \u00a0ShutterBooth<\/strong><\/a> is a major event sponsor.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are absolutely thrilled to bring Brit to Detroit for our February program,\u201d says Detroit NACE President and ShutterBooth owner Mike Robins.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s a great opportunity for local event professionals to see a leader on the national stage.\u00a0 While our annual Wedding Trends meeting is typically our most popular of the year, we\u2019ve never seen anything like the response we\u2019ve seen for Brit.\u00a0 I\u2019m hopeful that we won\u2019t run out of room!\u201d\u00a0 Robins expects more than 125 local event industry professionals to attend.<\/p>\n

Ms. Bertino will present a program entitled \u201cHottest Trends in the Wedding Industry.\u201d\u00a0 She will not only cover the latest in design, d\u00e9cor and interactivity, but also focus on the impact same-sex weddings will have on the industry, in terms of both design and content.<\/p>\n

In addition to Ms. Bertino\u2019s presentation, the evening will feature open networking as well as dinner.\u00a0 Food, d\u00e9cor and entertainment will be provided by a variety of local businesses, including Blumz<\/strong><\/a>, Chair Covers & Linens<\/strong><\/a>, Display Group<\/strong><\/a>, Event Source<\/strong><\/a>, Mike Staff Productions<\/strong><\/a>, ShutterBooth<\/strong><\/a>, Top That!
