National Kidney Foundation of Michigan

ShutterBooth was proud to be a part of the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan’s annual Kidney Walk at the Detroit Zoo.  Over four thousand people were in attendance for this special event, which raised $300,000 to support the NKFM’s prevention programs and patient services that are offered to Michigan residents.

Walkers followed a 1.5 mile route through the zoo, and then spent the morning being entertained by a variety of vendors. Radio Disney had an entertainment area filled with face painters, dance contests, giveaways, and music.

Kids enjoyed the juggling clowns walking around, and the opportunity to make noodle art/jewelery with Noodles & Company.  Adults were offered free health food, Zumba classes, massages, and other gifts!  And yes, guests of all ages enjoyed the ShutterBooth.

It was a powerful day, where people came from all over the state of Michigan for one great cause.  Helping those in need can be a lot of fun!
