The Spotlight Is On…Our Hosts!

Hey ShutterGuests!

I am extremely excited to be able to introduce you to our new ShutterStar Host Blog! Each week, we will highlight a different host–giving you a sneak peak into the glamorous life of a ShutterBooth Host.

Our Hosts know how to keep the party going and keep clients and their guests brimming with happiness, all without breaking a sweat!

Our first featured host is Mary Ellis. Mary was the first recipient of our company award, “You Rock, Hard!” She was chosen for this award for going above and beyond for her clients week after week! One client described her as… “superb,” and said, “We could not have asked for a better person to run the booth!”

The pressure of being a ShutterStar can really get to some people, but Mary doesn’t let all of this attention go to her head. She maintains a normal life and keeps her cool when being mobbed by fanatic crowds. Regardless, the recognition is always welcomed and gifts, of course, are always accepted. Cash is preferred, but she will accept gifts in the form of concert tickets, bottles of Frank’s RedHot sauce or Microsoft points to feed her Call of Duty addiction.

As a part-time stand up comic, experienced in the art of sarcasm, Mary will keep her guests laughing all night long (her conscience sounds a lot like Rob Schneider in The Water Boy), which makes for some hilarious photos. If you think this goofy gal isn’t serious enough to run your booth, you are mistaken! Mary is a master troubleshooter and can fix any mishap in the blink of an eye. She prides herself in taking the best possible care of her clients and will make sure that everyone has a great time.

When Mary isn’t hosting events, she is busy pursuing a degree in business management and photography/graphic design. She loves hockey and enjoys going to concerts, art galleries and comedy shows.
