World School Games Meets ShutterBooth

World School Games is an athletic and cultural event for teams or individuals currently enrolled in a secondary school from across the globe.  Teams or individual athletes participate as representatives of their school, athletic conference or city. The six day event consists of medal contending athletic competitions, Opening Cultural Ceremony, cultural and social events.  Promotion and sharing of cultural ideals by the host city and among athletes is a centerpiece of the Games experience. All athletes and delegates are housed together at a local university.

This year the Games were held in Cleveland and we were lucky enough to be a part of it. The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (U.S.A), managed the 2010 World School Games & Cultural Festival. The Sports Commission has extensive experience at managing major, international and national events including the 2004 International Children’s Games, The AC Milan Continental Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament, Olympic Trials and Olympic sports, and world and national championships.
