A military wedding to remember

Lauren & Andy made it official at the Westin Copley Place on Friday, November 11th.   Fox 25 News along with the Westin Copley Place held an essay contest to give away an all expense paid wedding to say Thank You to our military men and women.  Out of 150 essays that were submitted, Lauren’s essay received the most votes and they were the lucky winners of this military wedding to remember.

Lauren & Andy had originally planned their wedding for 9/10/11, however Andy was deployed to Afghanistan.  They never expected that when he returned they would win the wedding of their dreams, celebrated on 11/11/11, Veteran’s Day.  Everything at the wedding was graciously donated, including the cake, flowers, Lauren’s wedding dress, the tuxedos, etc.  There were also many surprises that came along with the wedding, including an airforce honor guard, a beautiful harp player,  and a visit from Scott Brown.

Shutterbooth Boston was honored to be a part of this special occasion.  The 150 guests loved getting in the photo booth, creating wild & crazy photo memories for the bride & grooms scrapbook.   We want to give a special Thank You to Andy, as well as all of the men & women who serve our country everyday.  Lauren & Andy’s next stop is St. John, where they will enjoy their all expense paid honeymoon after Thanksgiving.  We wish them much happiness.
