Day In The Life Of A ShutterBooth Employee

You may think we spend all day in the photo booth, gawking and laughing over the silly photos we have taken, but working in the photo booth business is a lot more work than one would think. We know that everyone NEEDS a ShutterBooth at their event. Be it a wedding, bat mitzvah, high school prom, family reunion, or a corporate event but some people need a little more convincing…

When one thinks of a photo booth they usually don’t think of photo strips being benefical for marketing, save the dates, escort cards and that is where we come in! We share with future clients that we are more than just a photo booth company. We help them create memories of their event and everyone that attends gets a take away!

We have built strong connections with our clients and book well in advance and guide our clients through the 3 steps before their event. Our in-house graphic designer creates a customized logo which the client approves for the bottom of their photo strip, we work with the venue to find the perfect spot for the photo booth, and schedule what time the photo booth will set up, open, and close.

Our photo booths need to be tested each week before going out for events and all the supplies need to be ready to go with the booth. We schedule our hosts to work the events and confirm with them where the event is and what time they need to be there and even provide directions so there is little room for error or tardiness.

The best part of working at ShutterBooth Boston is hearing how much fun our clients had with the photo booth! We can tell by reviewing the photos and picking out our favorites for Top 10 Tuesday which we post on Facebook. Being a ShutterBooth employee is one of the most rewarding jobs, because we always leave our clients with big smiles!
