Top 10 ShutterTips

These are our top ten ways to maximize your memories using a ShutterBooth.

1.You must make a funny face! This includes tongues out, cheeks puffed, eyes wide, and anything else you can think of.

2. You need a classic pose. This could be Madonna’s “vogue” pose, a two-thumbs up, a flex of your muscles, back to back, or the popular “just stand there and smile” pose.

3. Utilize the prop box. A photo strip with you and your friends wearing purple wigs, cowboy hats, and oversized sunglasses will make you chuckle even years later!

4. Keep going to the booth. This means you must take a picture at the beginning of the night, and then keep going back as the night (or drinks) progress. It’s much more fun going home with multiple photo strips rather than just one!

5. Try to fit as many people in the booth as you can. This can be tricky but absolutely hilarious as everyone tries to cram into the booth. The photos are sure to be unforgettable!

6. Take some photos in color and black and white. Color is great for displaying the props, but black and white gives the photos an old school classy feel. Plus, everyone looks better in black and white!

7. Go on ShutterYou and post the pictures on Facebook or save them to your computer so those who did not get to experience the ShutterBooth can see them!

8. Be sure to take a picture with someone who you don’t see very often. This can be the best keepsake to remind you to keep in touch!

9. Plan out what poses you are going to do before you start the booth. This comes in handy especially with large group photos.

10. Get the ShutterBooth App and create your own experience at home after you’ve seen us at an event!
