Renting A Photbooth For Your Wedding

So you want to rent a photo booth for your wedding?

When choosing a photo booth for your event there are a few very important criteria you should look for.

1.) The Company
You wouldn’t choose a DJ without meeting with them and getting to know them a little bit and the same should go for your photo booth vendor. Make an appointment either at a tradeshow, in their office, or somewhere that you can evaluate the people running the show.

2.) The Booth
Ask how many people can fit inside the booth, some photo booths fit 2 others fit crowds of 8-10 (More people usually equals more fun). Be sure the booth looks nice you wouldn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on an event and have an eye sore in the middle of your venue. Before you commit to the rental see the booth in action and see that it is constructed properly. Your wedding is an elegant event, your photo booth should be as well.

3.)The Equipment
Ask any potential vendor about their equipment including the camera, the printers, the paper, etc.. Even if you don’t know good from bad you can get a feel for their confidence level in their product and help you compare one vendor from the next.

4.)The Packages
Of course price is always a factor in any buying decision so after meeting with the company, seeing the booth, and finding out more about the process and equipment you should discuss the packages. Usually sold in hours of operation you will need to decide how long you want to rent the booth. Be weary of the cheapest company on the block, you can’t run a photobooth businesss on a shoestring budget and you want the company you hire to still be around when your event arrives.
