We had the pleasure of spending the day with Heather and Gary, and their friends and family, while they celebrated their “Wedding in a Week” contest win, hosted by Washington Bridal Showcase<\/a>, WeddingWire<\/a>, and MIX 107.3<\/a> at<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

George Washington’s Historic Mount Vernon Estate and Inn<\/a>. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

The wedding ceremony was officiated by Joyce Cochran of\u00a0Say I Do Your Way<\/a>, and the fabulous reception music was performed by Washington’s Best<\/a>. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Inn’s Brunch was tastefully done and everyone enjoyed the variety of foods available!<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

\u00a0\u00a0All of the details were orchestrated by Tyler Fitzhugh of Voila! Event Studio<\/a>, and everything ran on time and came together beautifully! \u00a0Great job by Tyler, who was an absolute pleasure to work with!<\/p>\n

The announcements and invitations were created by Paper Talk<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Heather, Gary<\/a> and their friends and family hammed it up in the ShutterBooth<\/a> while enjoying the fun paper props from Say Cheese! Paper Props by Carla David<\/a>. \u00a0We even had a few people bring George Washington himself back to life with the top hat and beard props by Carla!<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0 \"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Heather’s stunning gown was selected based upon votes by the public (and it was the one I voted for, too!) provided by Couture Miss Bridal<\/a>. \u00a0The Wedding rings for Heather and Gary were provided by Chas. Schwartz and Son<\/a>, and were engraved with cherry blossoms; a touching reminder of the spot where Gary proposed under the beautiful cherry blossoms in DC last April.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Daniel McGarrity Photography<\/a> was there to take the formal wedding portraits, as well as capturing the action and fun being had by all! \u00a0The beautiful wedding cake was provided by Cakes by Happy Eatery<\/a>, and it was EXCELLENT! \u00a0 More yummy treats were provided by the Lollipop Chef<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0The Bride’s and Bridesmaids’ gorgeous bouquets that Heather designed were created by Bloom Fresh Flowers<\/a>, and will be preserved by All Seasons Floral Preservation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>

\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Bridal Party’s hair was beautifully executed and styled by Ashley Riddle of \u00a0Up Dos for I Dos<\/a>. \u00a0Finalizing the group’s beautiful look was makeup by Isabella Bastien<\/a>. \u00a0The Bride’s jewelry was provided by Creations by Diane<\/a>. \u00a0 The Groom’s and Groomsmen’s Tuxedos were provided by Jos A Bank<\/a>, and the entire Bridal Party looked sophisticated and stylish!<\/p>\n
