The\u00a0Annual Komen Houston Race for the Cure\u00ae<\/a><\/strong> is the largest gathering of breast cancer advocates, volunteers, survivors and supporters in Houston.\u00a0\u00a0 This year more than 30,000 participants, including 1,600 breast cancer survivors and 1,200 volunteers, supported this major fundraising event. Leading up to the Race was the annual Pasta Party and Auction<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0This party was the perfect way to raise funds for Komen\u00a0with both silent and live auctions. The Pasta Party was held on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011<\/strong>, at the Westin Memorial City. ShutterBooth Houston was excited to participate in such a wonderful event. We were even able to get a few pictures with the\u00a0 performer of the night.<\/p>\n
