It’s meet the team Tuesday!
As fall season quickly approaches, we want to introduce you to our incredible team of ShutterHosts! These wonderful, amazing, hilarious folks help capture the fun on your special days- so it’s only fair you get to know them better! Each tuesday, we’ll show off one of our team members, tell you a bit more about them, and their favorite things about being part of the ShutterBooth family!
From host to our in-house graphic artist, this woman can do it all! Let’s get to know Chelsey!
What’s your favorite part of working for ShutterBooth?
I get to meet new people all the time and play dress up with them. I am literally paid to be a goofball.
What’s one of your favorite memories from a ShutterBooth Event?
I worked an event downtown and stumbled upon a friendly, stray cat at the venue. I tried to ask the janitor if he knew who the cat belonged to, but he only spoke Spanish and I only speak English. I’m a huge lover of all furry creatures and couldn’t stand the thought of this poor cat walking around without a home, so I proceeded to pick the cat up, put him in my car and drive off. The Janitor chased me to the end of the driveway, flailing his arms and screaming…I almost stole his cat. The venue had been feeding him and letting him sleep in the shed. We both laughed and I sheepishly handed him back his independent companion.
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Unfortunately I seem to really love shows that happen in the fall and winter, so I’m at a stand still on most of my obsessions: Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time, Game of Thrones, etc. I just stumbled onto Shameless, so that’s tying me over for now 🙂
If you could close your eyes and be anywhere on earth when they opened, where would you be?
The happiest place on earth of course! Disney Land! I’ve never been.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about my family. I have an amazing husband and our first child on the way, Oliver. We have two beautiful dogs…and a cat I’m sure my husband could live without. Without them, life would be boring.
Which superhuman power do you wish you had?
I wish I could levitate things. Being pregnant has limited my ability to lift stuff myself…and rolling out of bed is a workout all on its own. Besides, who wants to take a break from binge watching Netflix to grab a glass of water? I’m a creature of convenience.
