ShutterBooth + Golden Anniversary = FUN!!!

It’s not every day you get the honor of celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. ShutterBooth was pleased to be a part of Don and Rose’s Golden Anniversary celebration.  Hosted by their loving family, Don and Rose arrived in style with a stretch limo and red carpet.  No expense was spared and all the stops were pulled out.  Guests were treated to music by DJ Chris and banging BBQ by Mission BBQ (yummmm!).

The evening was kicked off with the guests witnessing an exchanging of the original vows made by Don and Rose half a century ago.  There was not a dry eye in the hall.  After this emotional ceremony, the food was served and cake was cut.  *We LOVED the cake topper (pictured above).

DJ Chris had the crowd dancing the whole night, playing music through the fifty years.  Besides the couple celebrating their Golden Anniversary, there were quite a few who have been together for 40+ years.  The room was a shining example of lasting marriages for the few newly weds in the bunch.

The 50th anniversary gift is Gold (hence Golden Anniversary).  The party was accented everywhere with gold; personalized gold napkins, gold balloons, gold cake, and the couple wore gold (just in case there was any confusion!).

Congratulations Don and Rose!!  Here’s to 50 more!!!
