Wonder Studio Opening featuring Green Screen

Do you Green Screen? The Chysler Museum does!!  On July 14, 2018 The Chrysler Museum launched it’s Wonder Studio Exhibit, a completely interactive and immersive exhibit designed for guests to explore, play, and create.  As a part of the Wonder Studio’s grand opening, ShutterBooth was there with one of the premier Virginia Beach Green Screens.

When the doors opened at 10am, there was steady stream of patrons visiting the exhibit opening, and The Chrysler did not disappoint!  Outside there were games and snacks, including ice cream cones with fresh waffle cones made on site! Guests were encouraged to visit the Hall of Fun, which housed the green screen and a balloon artist.

The Wonder Studio itself is located off Huber Court is designed to engage guests in thinking creatively about art, what makes an artist and how they view the world.  Taken from the Museums website:

  • The Studio takes a whimsical view of the Museum’s collection. Using a digital version of an artist’s easel, visitors can select various works of art from the Chrysler’s collection and create a masterpiece of their own using a combination of elements from each piece.
  • The Colorscape is an immersive projection-scape that uses the human body to dance and move with color. Another area of the space takes a whimsical view of the Museum’s collection. Using a digital version of an artist’s easel, visitors can select various works of art from the Chrysler’s collection and recreate a masterpiece of their own using a combination of elements from each piece.
  • The Artquarium immerses visitors in a visual explosion of artworks like a multi-faceted jewel while giving visitors clever tools to find little points of discovery and delight.

ShutterBooth was happy to add our brand of fun and excitement with our green screen to the event.  Guests of all ages were tickled to step in front of our 10×10 spandex non-wrinkle green screen and strike a pose!  Close to 200 photos were taken during the day, and all were photo bombed by a floating Marie Antoinette head (ironically on the anniversary of Bastille Day).   Here are a few of our favorites:
