ShutterBooth<\/a> had the pleasure of providing a photobooth for the recent “Wish Upon A Wedding<\/a>” Launch Party in Chicago. The event was a huge\u00a0 success and the Ravenswood Event Center<\/a> was packed with wedding vendors, event planners, and clients who all gathered to celebrate the launch and future success of this wonderful organization. Wedding planners Ali Phillips {Engaging Events by Ali<\/a>} and Melissa Phillips {Simply Perfect by Melissa<\/a>} worked hard to put together this wonderful event and it was a huge hit!<\/p>\n

In addition to snapping photobooth pictures in the ShutterBooth<\/a>, attendees tasted cuisine by Blue Plate<\/a>, The Hearty Boys<\/a>, and D’Absolute Catering<\/a>. Take the Cake<\/a> provided delicious cupcakes and designed a beautiful cake that matched the theme and decor of the event (in Wish Upon a Wedding’s signature colors). The fabulous fabric draping and perfect blue uplights were the vision and design of Deborah from Art of Imagination<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the evening was having the opportunity to meet Chicago’s first wish recipients, Beth & Nick {pictured on the left} who attended the event with their families {ShutterBooth<\/a> is looking forward to providing a photobooth for their wedding this month!<\/em>} The crowd went silent when Matt from I Do Films<\/a> previewed an incredibly touching video of their story {you can view the video on their blog here<\/a>}. There was certainly not a dry eye in the room; their story left many with a mix of emotions yet inspired to contribute to this wonderful organization.<\/p>\n

The Chicago launch of Wish Upon A Wedding<\/a> was a huge success! We are looking forward to helping Beth & Nick celebrate this month and hope to work with the Chicago chapter to grant more wedding wishes soon.<\/p>\n
