Wish Upon A Wedding Launch Party

had the pleasure of providing a photobooth for the recent “Wish Upon A Wedding” Launch Party in Chicago. The event was a huge success and the Ravenswood Event Center was packed with wedding vendors, event planners, and clients who all gathered to celebrate the launch and future success of this wonderful organization. Wedding planners Ali Phillips {Engaging Events by Ali} and Melissa Phillips {Simply Perfect by Melissa} worked hard to put together this wonderful event and it was a huge hit!In addition to snapping photobooth pictures in the ShutterBooth, attendees tasted cuisine by Blue Plate, The Hearty Boys, and D’Absolute Catering. Take the Cake provided delicious cupcakes and designed a beautiful cake that matched the theme and decor of the event (in Wish Upon a Wedding’s signature colors). The fabulous fabric draping and perfect blue uplights were the vision and design of Deborah from Art of Imagination.
The highlight of the evening was having the opportunity to meet Chicago’s first wish recipients, Beth & Nick {pictured on the left} who attended the event with their families {ShutterBooth is looking forward to providing a photobooth for their wedding this month!} The crowd went silent when Matt from I Do Films previewed an incredibly touching video of their story {you can view the video on their blog here}. There was certainly not a dry eye in the room; their story left many with a mix of emotions yet inspired to contribute to this wonderful organization.
The Chicago launch of Wish Upon A Wedding was a huge success! We are looking forward to helping Beth & Nick celebrate this month and hope to work with the Chicago chapter to grant more wedding wishes soon.
