Four Ways to Get in the Booth

It’s been a busy spring at ShutterBooth!

Translation – We’ve had a packed calendar with some of the coolest things this city has to offer in the way of events. Whether weddings, private dinners, outdoor events or something else, so far … so GREAT. And, the coolest part is that our photo booth fans are taking full advantage of the unique things ShutterBooth can offer.

For instance, sending off April with a bang, we hosted four different events that used the booth in four, awesome ways.

The first was an extremely unique wedding by Courtney Suber Paz where the florist – Tulip – teamed up with us to create a custom backdrop for the Lucy & Drake’s photo booth memories.

Held at the elegant Cherokee Town & Country Club off West Paces Ferry Road, “This event was a showstopper and the backdrop tied in perfectly with the overall elegance the whole occasion.,” said hostess Johanna. “The backdrop was made of whitewashed vertical boards draped in English ivy and tiny LED lights woven throughout. Among a room of romantic lights, candles and several layers of texture made from breathtaking florals, it was a seamlessly chic ambiance.”

Next, the ShutterBooth got a seat at the table with Melissa & Jesse at their rehearsal dinner. Planned by Chancey Charms, this to-be-wed couple welcomes friends and family to Southern Brewing Company in Athens, Ga. But more than brew and good food trucks’ food, they rented a traditional, closed booth to help raise the fun for their night-before fete.

Host Johnny said, “A traditional closed booth was perfect for an occasion like this because it’s a smaller, more intimate crowd. Everyone is more laid back and the closed booth acts as simply an accent to the occasion. Interestingly enough, more than half of guests were around when photo booths first made their debut, so they told me it gave them a feeling of nostalgia.”

Hannah got to attend a seriously glamorous affair down in Macon, GA at Terminal Station. Wendy and Abdul invited a fun group of friends and family to celebrate in their upscale, navy and hot pink day. They had gorgeous floral center pieces and chose to use an Open Booth, giving their guests rooms to spread out the poses, it gave the couple the option to use a glitzy custom backdrop and cleared a little more room to pack people into each shot. The entire event, brought together by EllyB Events was beautiful!

“It was a very classy wedding — and they executed it with flare,” said Hannah. “The open booth was such a perfect fit, because its sleek and modern design blends into sleek decor and in a traditional ballroom. The sparkling gold sequin backdrop combined with the decorations made it a truly great looking event”

Lastly, we got to debut the Slow-Mo video in our ShutterPod! And, not only that, it was the very first wedding to take place at Flourish by Legendary Events. Toast Events put on a crazy impressive event for the happy couple – Rachel Ann and Zach – and getting to show off the easy, breezy Pod made it a memorable way to end the month for us.

“Everyone thought the slow-motion element was super neat,” hostess Kaytee said.”
