ShutterBooth’s Date With Cake

Talk about a dream date night … Our host (and photo booth favorite) Russell, got to spend the evening with some of the city’s coolest wedding vendors at one of the city’s chicest spots. A Date With Cake,  hosted by Cakes By La’Meeka and stocked with plenty of yummy servings of said delicacy, brought out the best of the best in events, for a night to remember.

“The Biltmore Ballrooms is one of my favorite venues in the city,” said Russell. “It’s an elegant, regal backdrop for any event. One can’t help but to feel as if they are in a fairy tale.”

A fairy tale is fitting, since the crowd consisted of mostly engaged couples and wedding industry professionals. “There was a lot of excitement in the room,” Russell added. “The couples were eager to experience everything, from the tasty treats to the photos that were snapped at our booth.”

It was equally exciting for us, because unlike a wedding (where the couple already knows why ShutterBooth is an awesome choice), an industry event lets us show off ShutterBooth to couples that were completely unaware of us and what we can offer.

“Watching their expressions as I informed them of our services was priceless!” Russell said. “They were amazed by our products, our customer service and the ability to create custom, personalized ShutterBooth experiences for their upcoming weddings.”

Apparently, they were amazed by our host, too, and couldn’t leave without a little bit of his personality. He got invited into the booth for some memory-making mug shots on several occasions. Here’s one of our faves…

In fact, Russell remembered, “One bride-to-be said to me, ‘I must have ShutterBooth at my wedding!’ When she said that, I instantly had the biggest smile on my face, because I knew she was going have the most phenomenal wedding ever!”
