When One Booth Closes, Another One Opens

We aren’t talking doors, friends. But, we are talking about opportunities. So, whether you’re a fan of popular quips, or would rather get the black and white, we’ve got the low-down on whether you should book a closed booth, or an open one.

Why Book an Open Booth?

Open booths are the new rage! And while there are reasons to choose one version over the other, there are a lot of pros to opting for less walls and more room for creativity. For instance, have you seen our posts about the custom-designed backdrops? This option is only available if you’re going with the Open Booth. Here, you’ll have the option to pick your own backdrop, or work with a designer (or conjure up your Pinterest pals) to create your own.

One of our favorite clients StudioWed Atlanta says, “Choosing an open booth lets our design team go crazy with themes and details that unify the take-home photo strip with the event’s decor. Everything is in the details to a planner, so we love being able to customize another element of any event with ShutterBooth’s Open Booth backdrop.”

Still want more reasons to go Open? With an Open booth, you can add more people to the frame and use bigger props (or poses). Literally, you’ve got more room to work with.

Our disclaimer? Since it’s open, make sure the pose you pick is one you don’t mind showing off to the entire crowd!

Why Go for Closed?

A Closed Booth is still a classic option when it comes to booking photo booths. We love it because it automatically creates a tight, simple frame for your friends and family to pose in. Less creative distraction may mean more freedom for props and posing, but it also creates a flawless look once the finished products come out of the printer.

Obviously, budget becomes a factor when you get down to the nitty gritty details of planning a special occasion. A closed booth is the best way to come in under budget without compromising your creative integrity. These strips look good… real good.

One bride says, “We had a closed booth at our wedding before picking an Open booth was even an option. But, I would have stuck with that decision because the black background makes the pictures seem timeless.”
