Planning Outside the Box

Wedding are generally pretty traditional affairs, seeing as how weddings themselves are cultural traditions after all. When guests show up at a wedding there are usually a list of things that they can expect to see. A white dress, bouquets of flowers, the wedding party, tuxes, lots of cake. Well, hopefully lots of cake.

But there’s been a little break from tradition lately. And we kinda like it. See, here, at ShutterBooth Atlanta, we tend to think a little bit outside of the box. Who says work can’t be fun? Who says you can’t make you next best friend inside a photo booth? Who says you have to wear a white wedding dress or a diamond engagement ring.

Gemstones are really really pretty and, there are more and more designers catching on to the idea that brides might want to walk down the isle wearing pink.

Groomsmen look pretty darn snazzy in button-ups and suspenders, and that’s assuming you even have groomsmen, or bridesmaids, for that matter. The wedding is about the bride and groom after all . . .

Brides are constructing beautiful bouquets out of antique broaches and electing to shower their guests with cupcakes or even pies at the reception.

Here’s the point. A wedding is the single most awesome day to really shine in your own skin. Why let tradition narrow your choices? Plan outside the box! There are so many beautiful possibilities.

Cheers!
