Making History

Did you know that photo booths have been around since the 1920s? Talk about going vintage!

Back when these animated strips of shots were tucked into traveling cases, solider’s packs and stuck to mirrors all over the country, the booths were just starting to make their mark. And who would have thought that almost a century later, they would make a recurring stamp on the social world, bringing new light to party entertainment and memory making??

We ran across this pretty cool article from Smithsonian Magazine’s online portal that shows some of the early booth’s products. It tells us that there are only 250 of the original booths left in the world, but that they’re being restored to their original glory left and right.
