Memorial Day: ShutterBooth Honors Our Fallen
It is Memorial Day and ShutterBooth honors our fallen! Originally recognized May 30th 1971 as Decoration Day, Memorial Day is a day that honors the brave men and women who died serving our country. This Memorial Day, ShutterBooth shares with you ways in which you can observe and honor the lives of our fallen soldiers.
Observing Memorial Day
1. Patriotism
Demonstrate your pride as an American Citizen and show your appreciation for the fallen soldiers who gave their lives for your freedom with the adorning of red, white, and blue. Decorate your home, garden, and or yard with the flying of Old Glory. Wave the American Flag proudly and support the brave men and women who gave their lives for our liberties and our country.
2. Acts Of Kindness – Say Thank You
Do you know someone who has lost a loved one in service? If so, show them a little kindness. Honor the memory of their loved one by showing your appreciation for the sacrifice that was made for people, freedom, and country. How can you do this? Invite them over for dinner, make them a meal, give them a card or photograph, the simplest of gestures such as mowing their lawn can convey gratitude!
3 . Visit The Fallen
Pay a visit to the graves of the fallen and decorate their graves with flowers and small token s of gratitude. See a neglected grave of a fallen soldier? Show it a little love and say thank you for their service as well as sacrifice!
4. Support Our Present Troops
Show troops currently overseas some love and appreciation! Send them cards, letters, even photographs displaying your support! Albuquerque ShutterBooth will be happy to help you show your support!
