We recently teamed up with ChairScholar Foundation to feature a ShutterBooth Photo Booth at their annual summer event.  The photo booth was a huge success.  Since our photos booths are completely wheel chair accessible, the kids we able to wheel right into the booth for fun photos.  We also were able to aim the camera downward so we could get the best photo possible.  The event was so much fun.  “We are always happy to contribute where we can.” said Monique Turley – Owner of ShutterBooth Photo Booths Tampa Bay.

ShutterBooth Teamed up with NorthStar Bank to help with the “Bash on the Blue”  the Thirteenth Annual Gary Nix Memorial BASH ON THE BLUE Party & Fishing Tournament brings the community together to benefit two great charities. The festivities kick off Thursday with a fun party highlighted by dinner, music, casino tables and silent and live auctions. The inshore, catch and release, fishing tournament is Friday. Fishing is followed by a bar-b-que picnic, featuring an awards ceremony with a grand prize of $1,000, other cash prizes and trophies.  Fishing props complimented all the photos taken inside the ShutterBooth Photo Booth.  “Photo Booths are so much fun” said one event participant. ShutterBooth Photo Booths Tampa recently teamed up with Rock N Roses,  A charity event to benefit cystic fibrosis.  The Benefit featured one of the coolest bands around, 10th Concession! If you haven’t heard of them, check them out! You’ll LOVE them!!

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:

• clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
• obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.

In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond.

Pinups for Pit Bulls, Inc. works to educate the public about the history and temperament of the American Pit Bull Terrier and Bully Breeds, to raise awareness about Breed Specific Legislation and Breed-Specific abuse, and to raise funds for bully-breed-friendly rescues and dogs in need.  The goal is to reestablish the defamed reputation of the Pit Bull as America’s premier companion animal, war hero, and therapy dog.

ShutterBooth Tampa recently teamed up with Easter Seals Florida Inc for the sixth annual  ” A Pair to Remember” event located in trendy Winter Park, FL.  The silent auction event brought women from all walks of life together to bid on something most all women love….SHOES!!!  The AlbinPolasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens was the perfect setting for this charity event.  The beautiful and serene setting offered guests a “yacht experience” with short boat rides across the lake.  The ShutterBooth Photo Booth only served to enhance the many luxuries women were able to experience.

In this day and age Charities are struggling to stay afloat.  When we received a request to assist with a major fundraiser for the Child Abuse Council it was a request that we could not turn down.  The Child Abuse Council is a private, non-profit agency that provides PREVENTION, EDUCATION and TREATMENT programs to help children and strengthen families in Hillsborough County. In 2008, the Council reached over 60,000 children and adults through its programs; and community supporters offered more than 5,000 volunteer hours. ShutterBooth Photo Booth Tampa Bay recently teamed up with PARC  for their annual fund-raising gala.  This years theme was a Black Tie Ruby Red Ball featuring an Auction.   The casino themed event offered fun and excitement for all the guests.  The goal at PARC:  Turning Disabilities Into Capabilities Since 1953! PARC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to exercise their independence, enjoy an enhanced quality of life and experience life to the fullest.  Click Here to See Photos from the event.

Cheryl Sanchez, owner of Diamonds Direct has been volunteering with PARC for the last 15 years and reached out to ShutterBooth to participate in this event. The event decor was done by the extremely talented team at Concept Bait.

ShutterBooth Photo Booth of Tampa Bay-Orlando care about our community!  We recently worked with a very worthy cause, Queen For A Day a 501 (C) 3 organization to take fun pictures at the Cheers to You Event!

On July 17, 2009 from 7pm-10pm the Tampa Chapter of Queen for a Day hosted the fundraiser at Hunter’s Green Country Club in New Tampa. The goal of the fundraiser is raise money and awareness for Queen for a Day, while recognizing women in the Tampa Bay area that continue to make a difference.

The fundraiser included a tea party where the girls are invited to get a make-over, manicure, and basically, just be girls! The highlight of the tea party was when each girl received her very own tiara!  The ultimate goal was to create a time where the girls can forget about their treatment, needles, and loneliness- to shower them with positive attention and to create happy memories to sustain them through hard times.  This day is their day; they are the queens. Guests of the event will enjoyed cocktails, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, music, ShutterBooth Photo Booth pictures, and a fabulous silent auction.  Proceeds from the event benefited Queen for a Day, a national non-profit organization designed to raise the self-confidence and self esteem of pediatric oncology patients.  ShutterBooth Photo Booth Rentals is honored to take part in such a worthwhile event & cause!!!
