Mindi & Jeffrey – Hotel Del Coronado, Coronado Island, CA

Pretty in Pink!  Mindi and Jeffrey hosted an elaborate, PINK themed gala that began with a beach bonfire ~ s’mores and all ~ for guests along the sandy shores of the Hotel Del Coronado on Coronado Island, California on the eve of their big day. They were married on the sands of the South Beach and no detail was spared!Peters Wedding Reception

Emily Smiley Fine Weddings & Soirees put on an elegant, whirlwind affair.  There were towels for guests’ feet, a custom canopy with a crystal chandelier, a full petal path, orchids galore, parasols, a dove release, Caprice Strings, a live artist sketching the ceremony as it unfolded, and a cocktail hour complete with deco lounge furniture including cubed pink seats and island benches, Hula dancers, and fire eaters!

The reception was decorated in shades of pink from floor to ceiling. Karen Tran Florals outdid themselves with the most spectacular, romantic display of linens and flowers in white and pink for days. Tables were covered in pink satin with shimmer pink sequin overlays, finished off with pink napkins adorned with an orchid and crystal strand.   The chairs had pink cushions and a pink boa draped over the edge on every woman’s chair.   Massive Manzanita trees were strewn with Peters Wedding Hotel Delorchids and crystals at the entrance and Lounge Appeal furniture surrounded the area, complete with pink pillows. Pink lighting and soft candles lit up the room. Love Joy Ice Carving provided a custom ice martini luge. Guests were entertained with a candy bar, ShutterBooth’s photo booth, a Cuban Cigar Factory cigar bar, a fireworks display over the ocean, DJ Justin Kanoya, and live music by Nick Palance. Boyd Harris Photographs shot the event and Modern 8 Films caught it all on video. Platinum Productions created a white, seamless dance floor with Mindi and Jeffery’s pink, custom logo, pink uplighting, and a projection of their logo on the wall. Guests danced the night away, had lots of fun with the SoCal ShutterBooth photo booth, and creatied their scrapbook guest pages for the newlyweds.  Can you count how many times we said PINK? Check out the fun in our event gallery.
