Here at ShutterBooth, we always want to keep you guys in the loop of the fun happenings going on!  Over the years, like many places of business, we’ve developed our own special ShutterBooth language, or ShutterLingo, as we call it.  It’s so much fun and we figured you guys would love it too.

So without further ado, here is the rough “translation” of the terms you may hear when you’re planning your ShutterExperience!

ShutterStar – this is your host who makes your ShutterExperience come to life the night of your event

ShutterFamily – the office you’re dealing with and all offices nationwide!

ShutterBride // ShutterGroom – YOU!…After you book your ShutterBooth!

ShutterClient – maybe you aren’t getting married, but you still get your own nickname

ShutterGuest – all the people at your event who will have fun using the ShutterBooth

ShutterFun – the only kind of fun that can be had behind the curtain!

ShutterRific – this is what your ShutterGuests will say when they leave the booth!

ShutterExperience – only the ShutterFamily can provide this!

So have fun with your new “language,” and we’d love if you used these terms when placing calls to our office during your planning process!!

Here we are, back at it after a few crazy weeks of Weddings, Corporate Parties and other miscellaneous events!

We’ll follow this blog post up with a few more event recaps in the next few days, so stay tuned!

We were at the Hillside Country Club back on Saturday, July 10th for another GREAT summer wedding.  It’s the 3rd or 4th wedding in the past few weeks where rain was imminent, yet never really showed up!  Cloudy skies and humid as can be, but after a brief morning/afternoon shower, once again came the clear blue skies and sun.  We’re starting to think ShutterBooth brings the sun!  We’re kind of like the “rain dance/chant” you used to do as kids…but these days it actually works!

Anyway, we got there nice and early on the 10th to make sure we had a great place to set up (it was our first time at Hillside Country Club).  Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and HUG from Meghan (the bride)…it’s fun bringing ShutterBooth everywhere…everyone’s always so happy to see us!  So, we setup the booth and then took a tour of the place to check out the reception area and tables.  Checking out the centerpieces has become one of our favorite things to do at each wedding because everyone has such different and great ideas!

Check out these awesome centerpieces:

Bottles of wine with a “Meghan & Garion” label on them and a vase filled with wine corks and grapevines!  So cool!  We’re a big fan of fine wine and creativity here at ShutterBooth RI, so we loved these centerpieces.

As the night went on and ShutterBooth kept rockin’, another surprise (and a favorite of ShutterBooth RI) was brought out.  Check out the late night candy station…a table filled with old classics, new hits and even some candy we’d never seen before.  Safe to say, this table is helping the Dental industry stay afloat:

All in all, it was just another great night for us here at ShutterBooth!  Each event is so unique and memorable, and that’s what is so great about this business.

Thanks to Joanne (Mother of the Bride) and Jeanette & the staff at Hillside Country Club for making the night so memorable.

Congratulations to Meghan and Garion and best wishes on a great life together!

Also, God Bless all the military personel, past and present, that are serving or have served our country!

On Saturday night, June 12th, ShutterBooth RI was at The Biltmore Hotel in Providence, RI for one of the coolest events we’ve done to date!

What was it you ask?  Well, I can’t tell you yet because I’ve been sworn to secrecy by The Style Network to keep it under wraps!

All I can say is stay tuned here for more information!  I’ll update this blog as soon as I find out the exact air date of the TV show in September.
