Happy Chinese New Year!
This weekend the ShutterTeam braved the cold and headed into Boston’s Chinatown for the China Adoption With Love, Inc.‘s Annual Chinese New Year Celebration. The China Pearl function room was quickly filled with families who took part in the CAWLI program and was buzzing with excitement. Our ShutterHosts loved watching the families catch up and seeing the CAWLI children play and reunite with each other.
Party-goers dined on traditional Chinese Cuisine, and took turns taking pictures in the ShutterBooth. The kids had a ball with the booth, and loved getting their very own ShutterStrip to take home.
The highlight of everyone’s day (besides the booth of course!) was the Traditional Chinese Dragon Dance. CAWLI children dressed as a Chinese Dragon and danced throughout the crowd, bringing good wishes for the New Year of the Snake.
