Marie and Mike Take the Plunge – Talk About an Elegant Reception!

ShutterBooth is still new in North Carolina but I’ve been to my share of weddings in my life. More than I can remember in fact. But the wedding last Saturday that Marie and Mike had at The Carolina Inn was one of the most elegant receptions I can ever remember.

First of all, The Carolina Inn is gorgeous. It is a must-see for any couple looking to get married in the Chapel Hill area. It’s located on the campus of the University of North Carolina and has plenty of history. Catering Manager Julie McCay and her team did a great job making the Old Well room look like something you would see in a fairy tale. Marie and Mike did the rest.

Randy Bennett of the Joe Bunn DJ Company was fantastic at keeping the dance floor going till midnight. And then after midnight, people were still there! We had trouble closing the ShutterBooth thanks to Randy as people weren’t leaving the wedding! But I guess that’s a good problem to have.

All in all, it looked like the perfect Valentine’s Day wedding for Marie and Mike and we wish them the very best in their life together.
