Cake-Boss-Blog2

ShutterBooth can have our cake and eat it, too! CAKE BOSS, Buddy Valastro, took a break from the famous Carlo’s City Hall Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey, to stop by the ShutterBooth on Sunday at the Pittsburgh Bridal Show!  Followed by a mob of “cake-arazzi,” Buddy stopped by to have his first ShutterBooth Experience!  We had a blast and hope he did, too!  We only hope he treasures his photo strip as much as we do!
A big Shutter-Thanks to you, Buddy!
ShutterBooth Pittsburgh LOVES Cake Boss!

A big ShutterBooth thanks to all those that attended the Go Red for Women Conference to speak up about healthy heart choices!  Women of Pittsburgh speak up!  As always, thanks to the American Heart Association ladies, and of course, the beautiful Renaissance HotelVisit ShutterYou.com to view this event’s ShutterBooth shots!

Heart Ball 2010 Pic

The ShutterBooth was a rockin’ at the Pittsburgh Heart Ball!  This year’s event was held at the Hilton downtown and was absolutely spectacular!  The theme this year was “The Heart of Rock ‘n’ Roll, such a fitting theme for a superb time!  The guests rocked out in the ShutterBooth producing some wonderful photographic memories for all!  We were so excited to be back for this event, and honored to be among some of Pittsburgh’s finest as they gathered in spirit of donating and supporting the American Heart Association.  Visit ShutterYou.com to view the pictures!  The ShutterBooth was a ‘rockin, and they still came a knockin!’

Where can you expect to party with ShutterBooth at Mardi Gras?  Where we have been for the last two years…the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott’s 3rd Annual Mardi Gras event! Blog-Pic-MardiGras3

This is one of our favorite events, where we get a chance to see their phenomenal staff with painted faces, beaded necks, and feather head-dresses!  What a great time as they interact with all of their clients in this celebratory event for client appreciation!  Again, we were happily overwhelmed with all of the wonderful things to take part in…ice sculptures in the shape of downtown Pittsburgh, an iced shot Luge in the shape of a Mardi Gras mask (see picture), neon, glow-in-the-dark jugglers, tarot card readers, New Orleans style jazz band, Bourbon bar (mmmm, we love the “creole-mamas!”), food, food, and more food (had to stop by the crayfish Po’Boy Sandwich station), AND…drum roll…ShutterBooth!

We hope to be a part this event every year!  See you next Fat Tuesday at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott!!!

Mmmmm, Mmmmm, Mmmmm!  The Common Plea invited ShutterBooth to be a part of their ‘Tasting’ and I can tell you our taste-buds were ever so glad they did!  We set up ShutterBooth in the back of the kitchen area of their catering location in the Strip District, and watched as everyone enjoyed the tastings of fabulous food options for any event!  The set up was amazing!  The appearance alone of the “spread” was so inviting…I once read that we eat with our eyes and nose before tasting it, which is why it is so important that a catered meal should be visually colorful and fragrant.  Boy, was it ever!  The Common Plea’s passion for catering and events was so evident in everything present, including linens and decorations from Table Attire.  The ShutterBooth photo booth was a big hit…then again, how could it not be with all of the happy, yummy-tummy-filled guests!!!  I also must make mention of the fabulous staff – see how much fun they are having in the ShutterBooth photo booth!  Thanks to the Common Plea for having us as part of this wonderful occasion!

…Pittsburgh’s finest at The Knot party!

ShutterboothTheKnotParty

What an event!  ShutterBooth Pittsburgh was proud to represent as The Knot’s 2009 PhotoBooth Partner at their Pittsburgh market party!  This spectacular event was an evening of rubbing elbows with some of Pittsburgh finest in the event industry!  And the finest they are! Divine Celebrations planned this shindig and we’re sure glad they did!  It took place at the mouth dropping J Verno Studios.  We had the great opportunity to celebrate with some of the coordinators of fabulous venues such as The Doubletree, and The Renaissance and weren’t we so lucky to have been picked at random to win an evening’s stay there, as well!

Every touch of this event was fabulous – event rentals from Event Source, linens from Lendable Linens, floral arrangements from Blooms Florist  (Gidas was there, too!), photography by Bellissima Photography (MichaelWill, too!), videography by Memory Productions, catering by Bart’s Catering, and mmm, mmm, mmm cookies by the Cookie Connection, too!

I think the busy body of the evening was definitely Marcie Andrews, our local The Knot account executive – who, might we mention, is a newlywed herself!  Congratulations, again Marcie!!!

Thanks to everyone who attended and those in particular that had a taste of a ShutterExperience – you know who you are!  Cheers!
