Berkley High School recently held their prom at the Lafayette Grande Banquet Facility. With foam lollipops, purple tables, and candy tables, you instantly felt as if you were in Willy Wonka. If you weren’t dancing to “Yeah” by Usher, you were probably getting your face painted by AFX. Instead of just a simple dinner before the dancing, there were fire breathers and fire twirlers performing during that time for all to enjoy. ShutterBooth offered two traditional booths, a crazy mix of props and unlimited reprints, making a memory for the students for years to come.
Maddie and David recently celebrated their marriage with friends and family at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center. The pink and white bouquets and candles as the centerpieces made the wedding very elegant. When the guests wanted to capture pictures of the bouquets, or the guests themselves, they were encouraged to use the hashtag “#davidlovesmaddie” so the bride and groom can look up all of the photos taken at the wedding. DJ Kevin from Mike Staff Productions began with smooth jazz for dinner, but when the “Cupid Shuffle“ played, everyone went crazy! Stephanie and Brent recently celebrated their marriage with friends and family at Glen Oaks. With pink lights, floral centerpieces, and black bows on the chairs, elegance filled the room. Everyone may have been on the dance floor for the “Cupid Shuffle“, but they backed away when the groomsmen stole the show with their own, choreographed dance of “Taking Care of Business.” To add to the elegance and glam of the wedding, ShutterBooth offered its Open air booth with a gold sparkle back drop and tons of props for the guests to enjoy!
Alice and Alejandro recently celebrated their marriage with family and friends at Zingerman’s Greyline. White linens and silver chiavari chairs created a classic, elegant atmosphere for the new event space. Guests gathered around tables to watch a twelve minute slideshow produced by the couple celebrating their families and history together. Zachariah and Melissa recently celebrated their marriage with family and friends at Waldenwoods. Aqua linens complimented by white chairs offered a pop of color perfect for spring. A moving evening throughout, all eyes were glued to the bride for her dance with her father to “Stand Alone” by Godsmack. Jake and Kelly recently celebrated their marriage with friends and family at Villa Penna. A red carpet and ropes made guests feel famous as they entered the ballroom. Elizabeth and Alex recently celebrated their marriage with friends and family at Blossom Heath Inn. Event Solutions recently held a Cinco de Mayo oparty at their corporate warehouse. Aside from the stringing lights, tiki bar, cornhole, and laser light disco ball, guests also enjoyed decor that included Bentleys, Jaguars, and an Audi R8! A group of employees performing as a mariachi band provided the highlight of the entire event. Of course, ShutterBooth captured the night’s most candid moments with its traditional photo booth and unlimited guest reprints, which now decorate workspaces throughout the warehouse.

Hannah recently celebrated her bat mitzvah with friends and family at Dave & Buster’s! The M&Ms-themed event featured black linens accented by red, blue and confetti balloon centerpieces. Guests enjoyed the many games and activities featured at Dave & Buster’s along with a casual, but generous buffet. Marty Abrin’s Associates in Photography documented the evening in an unobtrusive way and gathered the entire crowd for a group photo. Tronix Entertainment kept the party dancing all night, especially with Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).” ShutterBooth offered its ShutterPod along with green screen and M&M related digital backgrounds. Guests enjoyed unlimited 4×6 favors along with Hannah’s logo in the bottom right hand corner. Hannah will enjoy her classic scrapbook, containing every picture taken along with guest signatures, for years to come.
The Ferndale Elks #1588 recently hosted its annual Boots N Cleats party to launch the 2017 Metro Detroit Softball League season! The country-western themed event included white linens, black chairs and a variety of traditional western food selections. Line dancing and food dominated upstairs with Detroit Tigers baseball and drink specials downstairs. ShutterBooth added to the casual fun, capturing unlimited photos of Elks members, open house visitors and future players.
Zach recently celebrated his bar mitzvah with friends and family at Motor City Casino Hotel! The NFL-themed party included blue table tops and unique football centerpieces. The DJ had everyone dancing all night long, particularly with Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.” Photographer Andrew Potter documented the evening in an artful manner, while ShutterBooth captured the night’s craziest moments. The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor (CSC) hosted its Ninth Annual Amazing Race on April 22nd. ShutterBooth was pleased to participate for the sixth consecutive year!
One of CSC’s largest yearly fundraisers, the Amazing Race is an family friendly Ann Arbor-based driving scavenger hunt, where teams of four people solve clues, hunt for hidden locations and landmarks throughout town, and compete to be the first team to complete the course. All proceeds remain local at the CSC of Greater Ann Arbor and are used to provide free cancer support, education and hope to all people affected by cancer, including loved ones and children.
The race began at Atria Business Park, which also hosted a post-race party, including refreshments, food, entertainment and prizes. ShutterBooth added to the fun with its traditional photo booth and unlimited prints, allowing guests to capture a momento of this worthy event.
