City of Troy Celebration

The fiscal new year is upon us in the city of Troy, and people were ready to celebrate in City Hall.  ShutterHost, Sean, will take us there with his guest blog:

“Whatcha talkin’ bout, Willis!?” Ever wonder what it would be like to go back in time and have lunch in the 80’s?  Well, the city of Troy Building did just that at their 1980’s themed staff luncheon!  Their conference room was transformed into a blast from the past. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off played in the background on a large projector screen.  1980 hits played from the speakers to set the mood.  The city had an eight foot sign that said “80’s” welcomed guests as they walked in the door.  “Totally 80’s” streamers hung from the ceiling as retro slang was plastered all over the walls (“Like Totally” – “Bogus” – “Gnarly”). Movie posters helped people reminisce about the good times.

It wouldn’t have been a blast from the past without pictures of the staff from when they were living in the 80’s.  The office even held a contest on who could recognize those young faces.

This was a totally tubular and rad party, dude!
