EventTrender – a new national blog specializing in ideas and trends for the entertaining enthusiast

If you’re looking into ShutterBooth, chances are you’re looking for creative ideas for your special event. We love this unique blog and thought you would too!

Here at the ShutterBooth office, between our team we’ve participated in well over 100 events…we felt like we’d seen everything anyone could possibly do at a reception. However, when we checked out the EventTrender Blog all of us found unique “touches” we’d never seen before! This is definitely a “must-check-out” for brides, planners and event enthusiasts who are looking to amp up a traditional celebration.

In their own words EventTrender “encourages E-Trenders to share ideas, comment on posts, and participate in contests. Followers will have an opportunity to spotlight unique products, showcase services, and experiment with featured blog recipes, unique food presentations and DIY entertaining ideas. EventTrender is truly and invitation for inspiration.”

EventTrender was started by two of our friends, Sue and Angela, who have supported ShutterBooth since the beginning and continue to be a great friends to us! Here’s a little information about Sue and Angela.

Sue Keels is the Director of Sales, Catering & Marketing at the prestigious, Four Diamond, Conde Nast, Royal Park Hotel and Vice President of the National Association of Catering Executives for her local chapter. She has been recognized by her NACE chapter as “Caterer of the Year” and has been awarded several sought after industry awards for event theme and design. Sue enjoys captivating an audience, speaking about “catering tricks and trends” to large groups and has been quoted as a lifestyle and catering expert in many local and national industry publications including BizBash, the Knot, Brides to Be and MM&E. Sue enjoys taking an imaginative idea from concept to reality and looks forward to sharing her ideas with E-Trenders!

Angela Butorac is the Founder of Butorac Events, an Event Planning and Management Company. She is an active board member in her local National Association of Catering Executives chapter and has been recognized for her industry enthusiasm and creativity. Angela has won several tablescape competition awards for her talented design work. Whether Angela is entertaining for hundreds of guests or hosting an intimate gathering at home, she prides herself in crafting and creating every memorable event detail. Angela is passionate about menu planning and preparation, tabletop presentation and decor. Her excitement for capturing an unforgettable event experience is contagious and she looks forward to inspiring E-Trenders with fresh and unique entertaining ideas!
