Featured in many television shows and movies over time, the classic photobooth is coming to a wedding near you.

Photobooths have long been an easy way to get your picture taken while in the mall, at a carnival or anywhere you and your loved ones are having a wonderful time and want to document the occasion. Photos are then printed in mini-strips, ready to be split between you and your friend.

Formerly relegated to passport and visa offices, which now use more digital versions or actual cameras, the old-fashioned photobooth is making a comeback.

Bars and restaurants in large cities are using them to attract customers, and individuals are buying them for their homes. But perhaps not surprisingly it is in Hollywood where celebrities are installing them as permanent party gimmicks for guests who never tire of seeing themselves in close-up.

And since celebrities are usually the trend-setters for wedding fashion, it is no surprise that they are setting the mark for wedding reception extra-curricular activities. As an alternative to the disposable cameras left on each table, the photobooth can be used to take unlimited pictures of your guests. You can then paste the photos into a personalized wedding scrapbook and have plenty of photos left over for guests to take home as wedding favors. So, get ready to say cheese!
