A Classic Affair

This weekend’s wedding was the epitome of the classic celebration. Andrea & Peter – the new Mr. & Mrs. Maxwell – officially started off their married life in style. With a posh venue (the only word to describe The Lake House Inn = GORGEOUS), a classic color palette of cheerful yellow cooled down with navy accents, exquisite linens, and signature accents, you can only imagine the look of awe on their guests’ faces as they entered the room for dinner, drinks, and dancing.

The only thing more striking than the eloquently decorated space was the view from the panoramic windows lining the front of the room. Guests dined while watching the sunset as the new couple danced their first dance as husband and wife, and we couldn’t help but adore the sunshiny yellow centerpieces against the backdrop of the lake with its unadorned tones of blues and greens. The black crystal chandeliers hanging from the fabric draped ceiling were the pièces de résistance and twinkled like candlelit jewels high above the guests.

One of the sweetest details at the event were the grade school photos of the bride and groom that adorned each table reminding their friends and families of the journey they each took to arrive at today’s momentous event as adults ready to take this significant step in their lives.

At the end of the night, we were packing up to leave, and a distressed bride came running over because she didn’t get a photo with her parents and brother in the ShutterBooth! Of course, we couldn’t allow them to miss out on the fun! We reopened to let this sweet family take another landmark photo to add to their collection of milestone moments of their lives. We are thankful that we get the opportunity to witness all of our clients creating these incredible memories – we wouldn’t trade it for the world.
