Four Seasons Masquerade Holiday Celebration

The staff of the Four Seasons Philadelphia were welcomed by the Philadelphia Mummers and began the evening of their Masquerade Ball enjoying cocktails and hor d’oeuvres right outside the ballroom. We were able to see everyone’s flashy masquerade masks when they showed them off for the camera in the Open Shutter Booth!

Those who didn’t bring a mask, or just wanted a little extra flair, had their faces painted to conceal their identities in time for the masquerade ball. Cocktail hour abruptly ended when the doors of the ballroom were thrown open and The Phantom of the Opera boomed from the speakers! Performers kicked off the evening by gliding around the dance floor in their hoop skirts and masks. A bit later, while guests enjoyed a delectable dinner, a talented group of young Harvard men graced the stage and crooned some tunes, a cappella.

There was never a dull moment, because soon outside the ballroom we were surrounded by a big group of the staff dressed in some eccentric costumes, lining up for a parade into the ballroom which ended in a heated dance competition on the dance floor. Guests spent the remainder of the evening having a blast on the dance floor and enjoying coffee and French beignets. It was an event that will hardly be forgotten by any, and we can’t wait to see what the Four Seasons has in store for their hard-working staff next year!
