Shauna and Mike

To say that Shauna and Mike’s wedding was fun is an understatement.  What do you expect when the wedding party is introduced wearing clown noses and over-sized sunglasses?

Just outside of Frankenmuth, the couple celebrated their union with friends and family under a gigantic tent.  The decorations were circus themed, which was both adorable and appropriate for these party animals. Cotton candy and tiny favors littered the tables.  Vintage circus posters adorned the walls, and a lit-up sign outside encouraged everyone to “Step Right Up!”

Family is a very important thing to the newlyweds, so not only was there a beautiful moment of silence for those who were not able to attend the wedding, but there was also a table with photographs and a dedication stating “If Heaven Wasn’t so Far Away.”

The wedding reception was treated like a true family gathering – food was served buffet style, and a sign at the entrance read “Today, we are celebrating the joining of two families into one.  So please, choose a seat, not a side!”

The entire night was full of sentiment and silliness – from speeches to words of wisdom thoughtfully added to the scrapbook, down to dancing all the way to the last song and the guests’ creative use of other decorations inside the ShutterBooth.  Let’s just say a local giraffe became the life of the party!
