ShutterBooth Engagement

Hello Shutter Fans! I wanted to be the first to share the news with all of you…Jeff and I are engaged – Shutter Style!

It only seems fitting that I share the story with you as he used the ShutterBooth to propose. ShutterBooth is such an important part of our lives, I couldn’t have imagined a proposal any other way!!

THE STORY
Jeff and I traveled back to Nebraska, where I’m from, last weekend with the ShutterBooth in tote. I thought we were bringing the booth home to teach my sister how to set it up since she is working an event in KC for us very soon. That Saturday afternoon was filled with lots of basketball watching and booth set up. We had a blast taking photos in the booth all afternoon – how often is it that the booth is set up in your home? 🙂

That evening we got dressed up for what I thought was going to be dinner to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Jeff asked me if I wanted to go down and take a picture in the booth before we left. So…we went downstairs and took four funny pictures. When I went to retrieve the photo, I noticed that the strip logo read “Will You Marry Me”. He was down on one knee with the ring and I immediately started crying! I was so surprised and shocked and overcome with happiness. I said “YES!” and we went up to celebrate with the family.

A dozen roses were waiting for me, along with a limo for the night…it was a truly special night that I will never forget. ShutterBooth has meant a lot to Jeff and I over the past few years. We hope that we can bring the special touch to your events as well. Memories that last a lifetime!
