It’s meet the team Tuesday!

As fall season quickly approaches, we want to introduce you to our incredible team of ShutterHosts! These wonderful, amazing, hilarious folks help capture the fun on your special days- so it’s only fair you get to know them better! Each tuesday, we’ll show off one of our team members, tell you a bit more about them, and their favorite things about being part of the ShutterBooth family!

What’s your favorite part of working for ShutterBooth?

My favorite part of working with Shutterbooth is that I get a chance to help people celebrate such important events in their lives. I never imagined myself crashing parties every weekend…let alone as a job. Yes, I understand that I do get invites to events, but I can be a psuedo-crasher if I want.

 What’s one of your favorite memories from a ShutterBooth event?

There are so many memorable moments from my time with the team that it’s hard to choose. Sure, some events are much more extravagant than others but each event has been special in its own right. This is going to sound super cliché (so get near something you can hurl in) but what I can confidently say I will remember from my experiences are Houston and its people. I never really understood what my city was about until I was forced to make myself  part of many strangers lives, even if it is for just a few hours.

 What’s the strangest talent you have?

One of my strangest talents would probably be my ability to sweat. You might be thinking, “What the heck is this dude talking about? Everybody sweats!” Well let me tell you, if you know anybody that can sweat as much as I do, you’ve met one special person. Not saying that I don’t have it under control now (I’ve had plenty of time to figure it out), I’m just saying it’s easy to keep it fresh if there’s a fan or centralized AC near by.

  Which superhuman power do you wish you had?

If I had one superhuman power it would probably be able to levitate. I would even take being able to only levitate a foot from the ground. As useless as that sounds, it would KILL at parties!

 What was the best concert you ever went to?

I’ve been to many concerts but the one that stands out the most is Miguel’s show at wearhouse live. Dude’s got some pipes and he can put on a damn good show!

What are you passionate about?

I have a lot to be passionate about, but food is so far ahead that the other things don’t even count. I love that food can bring out so many emotions from somebody and that it can stimulate every sense. I love that food is always changing but certain things about it can bring back such specific memories from your life. Anyway, I could go on and on about this obsession, but I don’t want you thinking I only like Michelin class food. Chicken nuggets give me the feels too.
