Surfer Magazine’s Surfer Poll 2011 rides the ShutterBooth wave

Surfer Poll 2011...biggest night in surf!

Surfer Magazine’s Surfer Poll 2011 has been touted as the biggest night in surf. ShutterBooth Hawaii couldn’t agree more. For the second year in a row, Surfer Poll was held at the Turtle Bay Resort on the famous N. Shore of Oahu.  This years event was sponsored by Surfer Magazine, Turtle Bay Resort, Verizon, KRU Vodka, Peligroso, Skullcandy, Pacifico, & New Era.  Aside from the fabulous days spent on the North Shore at Pipeline, we had an awesome night at the Surfer Poll 2011 Video Awards. Congrats to all of you that were nominated and especially to those that took home “the surfboard.”  Shout out to Fred Pattachia & Fam, Kelly Slater & Fam, Bruce Irons, Bethany Hamilton,…and I couldn’t forget to mention my man man ‘Buttons’ (just to name a few…) who rocked the ShutterBooth last night until the wee hours of the morning.  Check out our event gallery to see and comment on your fav surfer’s ShutterPics.  Scott (“squared”…lol) and the rest of the Grind Media staff…you guys ROCK!

Stacy & Andrew Tan Shutter’d The Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki

As the morning sun peaked over Diamond Head into Waikiki, we not only knew it would be a special day for Stacy & Andrew…but it would be a special day for all who attended!

Stacy Terashita & Andrew Tan celebrated the joining of their lives together with a breathtaking ceremony on the lawn of the Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki.  Surrounded by friends & family, they exchanged vows and professed their love and commitment to one another.  Following the ceremony they ventured up to the ballroom where the real party began.  Kay Lynn & Presley from ShutterBooth Hawaii were “shuttering” away with the friends and family of newly announced Mr. & Mrs. TAN!

Mimosa(s) were being poured (and drank just as quickly), bottles of wine passed around the tables (primarily at the infamous party table #9…lol…we absolutely loved you table #9!), and many many visits to the ShutterBooth were made!

Rock’n sounds were provided by the Jim Hubbard Band.  While, photographer Brad Uyehara of Blufoto did a phenomenal job at capturing Stacy & Andrew’s precious moments. Flowers-n-Fun provided the stunning arrangements and had the décor set perfectly.  And, what Hawaii wedding wouldn’t be complete without a traditional Lion Dance?!  Provided by the Hawaii Lion Dance Association.

Stacy & Andrew’s celebration continued on long after the “official” reception had concluded…with guests making their way to Stacy and Andrew’s “after party.”

Congrats Stacy & Andrew!  We loved every minute of your wedding and we were honored to be a part of your “Special Day!”

Irving & Holger Shook Up ShutterBooth At Their Pre-65th @ Chai’s Island Bistro

Irving & Holger celebrated their 64th birthday with family and friends @ Chai’s Island Bistro. In usual fashion, Irving and Holger went BIG!  The “open bar” could only be out done by the awesome pacific rim cuisine.  Irving & Holger bought out Chai’s Island Bistro, who provided food action stations of lamb, lobster & prawns, hand-rolled sushi, roast duck with Chinese steamed buns (just to name a few).  Dinner and drinks were followed by a live concert by “Kelly Boy” De Lima of Kapena.  ShutterBooth was banging from beginning to end!  We look forward to celebrating your 65th…to be continued…

Hawaii’s largest photo booth rental company shutter’d it up at the Shriners with newlyweds Tania & Brandon Morimoto!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Morimoto!  We had fun Shuttering it up with Tania, Brandon, and the rest of the family at the Shriners.  This beautiful estate sits fronting the ivory white sand beach of Waimanalo, neighbored by the infamous Magnum P.I. estate.   Absolutely loved the traditional Hawaiian food served luau style.  Tania’s glam squad came out sporting very flattering magenta dresses, which turned heads as they partied the night away.  Brandon pulled off the suave GQ look as he always does, throwing a little island flavor to it with a beautiful maile lei.  Tania elegantly rocked her wedding dress and as the night progressed, she pulled a quick wardrobe change which was equally as flattering.  Congrats again Tania & Brandon!

Thank you for allowing ShutterBooth to be a part of your special day!  ShutterBooth was banging from start to finish…we had a blast seeing everyone dressed up in props & loved the cute little messages written in the scrapbook.  We especially enjoyed seeing ALL your smiles :)

Btw…thanks again Gramps for rocking that photo with me…you made that pic look “good.”

Robert & Elenora Brand “Shutter it up” at the YWCA Oahu

ShutterBooth Hawaii would like to show some ShutterLove to the newly married, Robert & Elenora “Pua” Brand.  Robert & Pua were surrounded by family & friends from both Hawaii and the Mainland in an intimate ceremony in the courtyard of Laniakea.  Robert & Pua’s special day (and night) was captured by Shannon, of Shannon Sasaki Photography.  We hope everyone enjoyed “prop-ing” it up and jumping in the photo booth as much as we enjoyed being part of such a special day.

Congrats again Pua & Robert!

PS.  PoPo…If you ever want a second career…give us a call.  LOL!  We absolutely love you PoPo!

ShutterBooth “pics” the Casey’s up @ Koolau Ballrooms

ShutterBooth was roll’n nonstop this weekend.  Danny & Carolyn Casey…(boy that has a nice ring to it), shared a beautiful ceremony at the Koolau Ballroom (Hawaii), located at the “foothills of the majestic Koolaus.”  ShutterBooth Hawaii would like to thank everyone for coming out and sharing this special occasion with Danny & Carolyn.  We hope everyone had a blast “shuttering” in the photo booth.  It was a pleasure being a part of your special day Danny & Carolyn…Enjoy Kauai!!!

ShutterBooth “pics it up” for Maddie’s 6th Birthday

We had a blast at Madison’s…or should I say Maddie’s 6th birthday party.  This year, it was held at the prestigious Waialae Country Club.  We were glad to see everyone in and out of the photo booth all day long.  More importantly we’d like to throw out some ShutterLove to the entire Chong family (esp. Kristin) for being such good sports and “proping” up and jumping into the photo booth to take those classic family shots…You guys are just too funny!
