As you know, ShutterBooth is always excited to serve the community through charity events.

On July 8, 2010 we were so excited to be invited to be a part of the annual Keeping Kids in the Game event sponsored by the Detroit Tigers. The mission of the Detroit Tigers Foundation is to use the game of baseball to enhance the quality of life in our community with a focus on youth, education and recreation. The Detroit Tigers Foundation will aid in the development and funding of innovative programs, including field renovation projects, that reach our community with positive messages and promote the good citizenship embodied in the storied history of the Tigers.

Our host Robyn was able to jump in the booth with Tiger’s second baseman, Carlos Guillen and relief pitcher Phil Coke!

We had so much fun being a part of this year’s event and met some amazing people!

Fox 2 News Backyard Bash

2010.07.03.10.00.50Exciting news at the ShutterBooth office! We were recently invited to bring a photo booth to Fox 2’s Backyard Bash on July 3 for the crew to enjoy, and what a spectacular treat that was!

We enjoyed meeting the Fox 2 crew who were enjoying the heat, each other, and of course, the festivities! In addition to ShutterBooth, we were joined by our friends at Carnival Bounce and Westborn Market who also provided fun for attendees.

We also appeared in a clip for Fox 2 that aired on July 3 as well. To view the clip, just click here.

We had an absolute blast being a part of this fun event and hope all the attendees did as well!

Thanks Jay, Deena, Roop, Joy and Justin!

Atlas Cares Holiday Marine Party

On January 9, ShutterBooth was thrilled to take part in the Atlas Cares Marine Holiday Partyg_ac_sponsor_montage. There were over 250 marines and 100 family members in attendance for a day filled with fun!

Channel 4 and Channel 7 were there to cover the action and guests were entertained with face painting, inflatable jumping houses, remote control racing, art activities and even cookie decorating!

The Marines and their families enjoyed getting their photos taken in the ShutterBooth, which served as a unique souvenir from an incredibly special party.

We were so excited to get the opportunity to thank the men and women of the Marines and their families who work hard for our country, make sacrifices for us, and fight for our freedom. It was truly a one-of-a-kind amazing event and we were thrilled to have a ShutterBooth there!

National Kidney Foundation

KidneyOn December 5, 2009 ShutterBooth partnered with the National Kidney Foundation’s event this year held at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center and we are glad we did as many guests remembered the fun they had in the ShutterBooth last year and were eager to take more photos!

There was a large silent auction taking place throughout the event as well as live auction later in the evening too.  Curtis Granderson even made an appearance at the event.

Guests enjoyed specially-made-for-the-occasion Pomegranate Mango Martinis and munched on Mars candy.  (A couple of fun guests even got the Green M&M in the ShutterBooth to pose with them!)

Overall, the event was a success and we continue to support the Kidney Foundation and were delighted to be a part of the action this year.
