A Trip Overseas with NhuLihn and Anthony

Usually, we like to pick and choose our favorite shots from a photo strip. This event is an exception. Super cute couple NhuLihn and Anthony built incredible 4×6 layouts for their guests to take home, so we had to show off the whole thing! Plus, their use of several green screens let guests customize the scenic backdrop for their money shots. We love it.

“Their event was a bunch of fun!” Dustin, the couple’s host for the night, said. “They danced all night, and wanted to ensure that their guests were both entertained and smiling.”

The back story here includes a romantic elopement in Bhutan, and it was very evident that the couple is still very much in love. The honeymoon phase was obvious from the way they smiled with one another, to the way they danced.

“Working with them was a blast!” Dustin added. “They seemed very much in love, and shared photos of their globe-trotting journeys together.”

This party was designed to give their guests a taste of Bhutan. Outside the fun in the booth, they had traditional Chinese dragon dancers, Bhutanese cuisine and music and, of course, the Booth became a portal of sorts, transporting them to the beautiful vistas in the city.

“They rented our ShutterPod booth and its sleek, white appearance fit in perfectly at the High Museum of Art,” Dustin said. “They chose a green screen backdrop to instantly transport their guests to various Bhutanese locations, such as a monastery on a cliffside and other breathtaking landscapes of the Bhutan countryside. They chose props that reminded them of their trip to Bhutan, and had their guests dress in traditional Bhutanese clothing.”

This booth was crucial to their theme (and made us beam with pride). Over an entire evening sampling the best of Bhutan, now these guests had the ability to take a photo as if they had travelled there themselves.

“The photos provided a lasting memory of their evening in Atlanta,” said Dustin. “I mean … in Bhutan.”
