Shuttergram Makes Things Glitzy for Gazal

Ok, fans, here it is – the low down on our coolest trend for party pics: ShutterGram. We use the ShutterGram service when the crowd comes smart phones in-hand, social butterflies showing and there’s too many great moments happening to keep them on one person’s newsfeed.

Basically, when anybody at the event uploads a picture to Twitter or Instagram using the event’s hashtag, ShutterGram embeds the image into a custom template and prints it off for the crowd to keep for themselves. Of course, to keep things vibrant, we also brought our sparkly gold backdrop with us, so that people could opt to take their pictures in front of a glitzy canvas.

“The crowd was having a lot of fun trying on Gazal Eyewear’s new designs,” host Rebecca said after the grand opening of Gazal Eyewear in Edgewood. “They enjoyed taking selfies in the new styles for ShutterGram and loved being able to print them out right there. The atmosphere was great, and it seemed like everyone got a chance to talk to the owners, Gazal and Andy, who were awesome, too.”

“It’s a great idea, because when people get their pictures in a customized template and take it home with them, it keeps the event and the brand name in mind,” Rebecca pointed out. “ShutterGram encourages people to take pictures and use the hashtag, which creates a greater buzz on social media. I also think that ShutterGram is a good idea because if the event is in a smaller space, it can be difficult to incorporate our photobooth or open format. The ShutterGram package allows people to have a product to take home while taking up very little space at your event.”
